The mission of the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) History of Medicine Student Interest Group (SIG) is to promote knowledge of the history of medical sciences to encourage critical thinking about current practices and how they have changed over time; humility to recognize that today’s practices will yet change in the future.
