Cecelia Vetter, Medical Education and Student Engagement Librarian at the Ruth Lilly Medical Library, Indiana University School of Medicine has been selected to participate in the inaugural cohort of the Association of Academic Health Sciences Libraries (AAHSL)/Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) Professional Coaching for Mid-Level Managers Pilot Program. This program is designed to enhance leadership skills and professional growth among emerging leaders in academic health sciences libraries.
The AAHSL/NNLM Professional Coaching Program provides participants with personalized coaching sessions, access to a cohort of colleagues with similar learning goals, and opportunities to develop strategic leadership capabilities. The program aims to prepare participants for higher leadership roles within their institutions and the broader academic health sciences library community.
The program’s comprehensive curriculum includes one-on-one coaching, group workshops, and peer networking opportunities. Participants will engage in activities that foster self-awareness, strategic thinking, and effective communication, all essential skills for successful leadership in today’s dynamic academic environment.
