During the month of August, the Ruth Lilly Medical Library will be celebrating 35 years in its current location in the Medical Research and Library Building on the IU Indianapolis campus. Assistant Director for Research and Data Education Position Open at Ruth Lilly Medical Library
IU School of Medicine's Ruth Lilly Medical Library seeks a dynamic, collaborative, and talented Assistant Director for Research and Data Education. This position oversees our research team (Scholarly Communications Librarian, Data Services Librarian, and Research Metrics Librarian) which supports and tracks research efforts across IUSM (Indiana University School of Medicine) such as assisting with grant proposals, electronic lab notebooks, scholarly communication, artificial intelligence initiatives, and data management plan requirements. This position also coordinates with Research Affairs to support research initiatives within IUSM.

Congratulations to Beth Whipple on her new role as the Associate Director of Informationist Services at the Johns Hopkins Welch Medical Library! Beth will lead a team of 13 informationists and will be responsible for conceiving, planning, and directing information services to faculty, staff, and learners at Johns Hopkins Medicine, Nursing and Public Health.
