The Makerspace is pleased to announce 3D Printing Workshop dates available this month! We invite you to come visit the Makerspace in its new MERB location, HA 2061, and get hands-on experience with 3D printing and learn more about the use of 3D printing in creating medical models - all while meeting our expert Makerspace staff! These workshops are for first year medical students only. There are only 5 spots in each workshop, so get in quick!

SKULL WORKSHOP
During this workshop, we will spend the first 30 minutes going over how to find 3D models for printing, how to set up a model to be 3D Printed, and then printer safety and handling. The rest of the session will be reserved for cleaning off excess material on the outside of the pre-printed skulls. You are welcome to bring up to one friend to the workshop, however you will only receive one 3D Printed Skull per ticket unless another attendee is unable to attend. Any unclaimed skulls will be sorted by a first come, first serve basis.

PELVIS WORKSHOP

We understand that scheduling can be difficult during the week after transitions, we ask that all students double check their schedules ahead of the event they sign up for, if you need to reschedule last minute, please reach out to us directly at rlmltech@iu.edu. We can reschedule you for a one-on-one session that fits your schedule if you notify us ahead of time. If you do not notify us ahead of time, your 3D model will be passed on to another student.
